and then, I moved away. There is no reason for you to stay in one place your whole life. There's so much to see, so many people to meet, and so much room to grow. In 2008 I moved cross country from California to Virginia, after 8 years there I'm now calling Texas my home. I plan to spend the next few months settling into our new apartment, and planning for the future. A year from now I wonder how my life will be. #houstonblogger #home #plussizeblogger #wellness #selfcare #empowerment
On December 14th, Sarah and I packed our apartment into a 16 foot truck with the help of her Dad, Brian, and the next morning we packed the cat and dog into the car and began the journey to Houston, Texas. This was the first time any of us had travelled that way. I confess, it was so tiring that I cannot recall driving through Mississippi. But I can tell you that parts of the trip went much faster than others, as if we were driving through time warps. Just about 4pm on Friday the 16th we arrived at our new home and were happily surprised to find our huge, homey, apartment waiting for us.
